The fine print, in plain words.

Privacy

• Your content stays on your computer. Your account is just for your licence. Your teams, logos, players, sponsors, music and recordings stay on your computer. We never see them.
• Your stream goes only where you send it, such as Facebook, YouTube or Twitch. Their privacy terms apply to what you stream.
• Your stream keys are stored on your Mac only.
• Update check. Once a day the app asks our own server if there's a new version. It sends the app's version and nothing personal.
• Diagnostics are only made when you choose Save diagnostics, and only reach us if you email them. They never include your stream key.
• Sound effects on this website and in the app are from BigSoundBank by Joseph Sardin, shared under CC0 (public domain).
• This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Nothing is stored on your device.
• Your account holds your name, email, club and the devices you sign in on (so a licence stays on 2 Macs and 1 iPhone). Your password is stored scrambled; we can't read it.
• Emails. We email about your account and licence, and sometimes tips and news. Every news email has an unsubscribe link.
• Scoring from phones on the same Wi-Fi goes straight to your Mac. With a typed code it goes through our server, which only passes it on.
• When you buy, we keep your name, email and what you bought. Ask us any time to see or delete your details, or delete your account in the iPhone app.

Buying

• One price: A$115, in Australian dollars, paid once. No subscription.
• Download it free; your account (made in the app) gets 30 days with everything switched on. No card needed.
• To buy, press Buy in the app. You sign in on our website with your password and a 6-digit code we email you, add your mobile number, and buy. The licence switches on in the app on the same account.

Refunds

• Ask for a refund within 14 days of buying, no questions asked.
• Your rights under consumer law in your country still apply.

Your licence

• One licence covers 2 Macs and 1 iPhone, with everything in the app and 3 years of updates.
• After 3 years the app keeps working. Renew any time for another 3 years of updates, at the same price.
• One Mac can stream at a time; the iPhone can stream at the same time as it.
• A licence is for you or your club. Please don't share your sign-in or resell the licence.
• New Mac? Sign in on it, and remove the old one in your account on our website.

What you stream

• You're responsible for having permission to stream the games, the people in them and the music you play.
• Follow the rules of the platforms you stream to.
• Team names, logos and sponsor material you add belong to you or your club.

Our responsibility

We work hard to make Scoreboard Live reliable, but live streaming also depends on your internet, your equipment and the platforms you use. The app is provided as it is, and we can't be responsible for a stream that drops or a game that isn't recorded.
