FAQ
I'm not a tech person. Can I really do this?
Yes. If you can use a phone, you can run it. Set it up once, and every game after that is: open it, pick the teams, press Go live. And if you get stuck, you can email the people who built it.
What do I need?
A Mac on macOS 12 or later (Apple silicon or Intel: there’s a download for each), a camera (a USB webcam or a camcorder) and internet at the ground: about 5 Mb/s upload for each place you stream to. A phone hotspot is enough for most games. No Mac at the ground? The iPhone app can stream a game on its own.
Is it a subscription?
No. A$115 once covers 3 years of updates on 2 Macs and 1 iPhone. Nothing per game and no viewer limits. After 3 years it keeps working; renew any time for another 3 years of updates, at the same price.
Do I need an account to download?
No. Download it, then make your free account when the app first opens: your name, club, email and a password. That starts your 30 days with everything switched on. No card needed.
Do our volunteers need the app to keep score?
No. They scan a QR code on the Mac and keep score in their phone's browser, up to 4 at once. On the same Wi-Fi or hotspot it's free with no limit. Away from it, a typed code works over 4G for up to 5 hours a month.
How do I buy?
Press Buy in the app, any time in your trial. It opens your account on our website: sign in, type the 6-digit code we email you, add your mobile number and buy. Your licence switches on in the app on up to 2 Macs and 1 iPhone.
Does it work on Windows?
Not yet: it's on the way. Right now it runs on Mac, plus the iPhone app.
